Practical check of the RISE Highspeed-Konnektor (HSK) with gematik Managing Director Dr. Florian Hartge at RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG.

RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG decided early on to operate the RISE Highspeed-Konnektor as an in-house variant. In August 2024, RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG, with the support of RISE, was the first German healthcare provider to receive operator approval from gematik GmbH for the RISE HSK. Since then, the conversion process to the latest Konnektor technology has been carried out together with RISE.

Yesterday, gematik CEO Florian Hartge visited the Bad Neustadt campus of RHÖN-KLINIKUM AG with some gematik and RISE colleagues to experience the RISE HSK in clinical operation. Julian Schäfer and his team, as well as some doctors who use the RISE HSK in everyday hospital life, reported on their experiences and the improvements in everyday hospital life that they were able to achieve with the RISE Highspeed-Konnektor.

It is already clear that the RISE HSK has significantly improved performance and operation. Especially for larger facilities with several locations and a complex IT infrastructure, the RISE Highspeed-Konnektor is proving to be a promising, future-proof solution for connecting to the telematics infrastructure.
