What new possibilities are there for hospitals to connect to the TI? How can digital health applications be written into the ePA and what added value does this offer hospitals? What technological and organizational requirements do hospitals need to implement for the introduction of the ePA for all?

We discussed these and other exciting questions on Wednesday together with experts from hospitals, health insurance companies, private health insurers and industry at the 11th KGNW symposium "Praxisdialog Informations- und Medizintechnik im Krankenhaus" in Duisburg.

One highlight was Dr. Dominik Schmelz's presentation on the RISE Highspeed-Konnektor and the RISE TI-Gateway. Interested parties were given an overview of the first few months of productive operation of the two solutions in hospitals as well as the challenges and lessons learned.
